Minnesota E-ZPass Upgrades Sept. 17-22
Customer Service and online access to your E-ZPass account will not be available during this time.
We are upgrading the Minnesota E-ZPass customer management system Sept. 17-22* including phone, email, chat, and website.
What does this mean?
- No online, phone, email, or chat services. You won’t have online access to your account or be able to connect with a customer service representative during the upgrade
- No walk-in service. The customer service center will be closed.
- No automatic replenishment during the upgrade—if you plan on using E-ZPass, make sure you have sufficient money in your account. If your account is negative, you may be charged higher tolls, violations, or extra fees.
- Your tag(s) will still work. You can continue to use E-ZPass during the upgrade.
What do you need to do?
- PLAN AHEAD! Add funds, contact us, or make changes to your account especially if you are traveling during the upgrade. If your account is in good standing, it will remain in good standing and tolls will be applied to your account once the upgrade is complete.
- If your credit card has expired, please update it. Failure to update expired information can result in fines and higher priced invoices from E-ZPass. We may not be able to dispute these charges, and you will be responsible for paying all fees.
- You need an E-ZPass tag if you are traveling outside of Minnesota—MnPASS tags only work in Minnesota. Allow time to switch tags if needed.
Once the upgrade is done:
- You will be required to change your password when logging into the new website for the first time. Setting a new password is required for security purposes.
- You will see a new look and navigation for the website and new prompts and options for the phone system. We are here to help you navigate the change!
